Ruoyi Wang is a Stage5 architecture student with more than one year of architecture practice experience. She studied both undergraduate and Diploma at GSA, adhering to the school’s restrained and rigorous design spirit, mainly focusing on elderly architecture, medical architecture and urban planning. From 2017 to 2019, she joined the Shanghai branch of AIA Life Designer Practice and has participated in architectural works in many fields, such as medical health, residential, industrial architecture and urban planning.
With the impact of global aging, she tried to reevaluate how the elderly are treated within society and explored the possibility of establishing an “old-aged friendly city” in Antwerp.
