Master of Fine Art
The MFA programme at The Glasgow School of Art has an enduring commitment to multidisciplinary approaches to artistic practice and studio based research, in which the studio is both a physical space and the space of imagination. Within this context, artists are invited to explore the diversity of media and practices available to them.
The MFA is defined through a wide array of disciplines and their expanded fields of study where practices become entangled in ever more complex configurations, within the complex and subtle conceptual framework of critical difference, that emerges from a deep sense of commitment to cultural diversity, peer learning and community. To put it succinctly, the MFA aspires to bring together an international community of practitioners who have work to do and an acute sense of adventure.
