This project seeks to explore what can be done with tone and shadow through the refraction and
reflection of light through transparent materials, including found plastics and cut glass. Focusing on
achieving interesting patterns, Rosie used natural sunlight as a way to project light through her
transparent 3D drawings.
In response to her photographs, Rosie then explored fabric manipulation techniques, utilising sheer
materials of different weights and qualities. They are visualised for fashion and fashion accessories.
