Live Chat: On Campus Accommodation

At the Glasgow School of Art, we offer our students a unique accommodation experience during their time in halls with common area spaces, equipment and events designed specifically for their needs. New undergraduate and postgraduate students to the institution will have the opportunity to stay in one of our purpose-built sites: Blythswood House or Margaret Macdonald House. With both sites being located within a 5 minute walking distance of the main Garnethill campus, our city centre halls of residence make a fantastic choice for new students to explore the city of Glasgow and be within close proximity to The Glasgow School of Art.

At The Glasgow School of Art, we understand that moving to a new city can be very daunting experience. We aim to make our students’ experiences as stress-free as possible by understanding their needs and being as flexible as possible during the application process and once they have arrived at their accommodation. We own all of our accommodation which means you will not deal with any 3rd parties and our accommodation team are on hand for the duration of our students’ stay to assist with queries and help out in times of difficulty. Our halls of residence also have valuable inter-departmental links with the rest of the school including departments such as Student Welfare, Finance, GSA Sports Services and Sustainability.

Join Fiona Sloan and our accommodation team for a live Q+A via Chatroll.
