Advanced Entry

Not all new students on our undergraduate degree programmes begin their studies in Year 1. Each year a number of successful applicants are offered a place in Year 2 or 3 instead. Entering in this way is often referred to as advanced entry.

Find out more with Elizabeth Beidler, Progression Manager at the GSA, for a pre-recorded talk about applying directly to year 2 or 3 (advanced entry).

Whether you’re applying for Year 1 or for advanced entry (Year 2 or Year 3), admission to the GSA is very competitive. For further advice on applying to the GSA, the Widening Participation pages on our website are a great resource.
