Alice Strang is an award-winning art historian and curator of Modern and Contemporary Art. She has over twenty-five years’ experience as a national gallery senior curator and previously as an international auction house specialist. She curates exhibitions, writes books and lectures about British and European art of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, with a particular interest in Scottish Art and Women Artists. She is a BBC Expert Woman and a Saltire Society Outstanding Woman of Scotland.
For her selection Alice has chosen the work of Painting and Printmaking student Gabriel Phipps. with further recognition for the works of fellow Painting and Printmaking students Chloe Duncan, Christian Kerr, Flora Robson and Shannon Glover.
