Leanne is a Scottish part II architect and artist. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Architecture from University of Edinburgh before attending the Glasgow School of Art. She has an international portfolio, with work in practice from offices in Amsterdam and Taipei, Taiwan. Here she also completed an intermediate course in Mandarin Chinese through attending language classes in the evening at Tai Da University. Previously, through her studies in Scotland, she won first place in The John Byrne Award for the submission of a series of portrait painting and a play. Since then she has always used a combination of art and technical drawing to communicate her projects.
Through her childhood spent in the national parks of America, she has developed a keen curiously in the topology of space, both natural and urban. This is portrayed in her Stage 5 project,
