Lauren Souter is a Sculpture and Environmental art student from Annandale, Dumfries & Galloway.
Her practice mostly explores the local history and genealogy of the Solway coastline.
Souter creates multi-media installation: including ceramics, illustration, video & written word.
This year Souter has been researching her own family church: Dornock Parish Church. She is so inspired by this site due to her own family ties and a rich history of industry and community.
Souter had her first solo exhibition at Dornock Church on the 15/02/2020 and plans to keep researching and staying inspired by Dornock Church and the surrounding area.
