Kathryn’s graduate collection has developed through the exploration of repeating forms and structures found within the clutter of markets, salvage yards and souvenir shops. Through her extensive use of alternative materials, including factory off-cuts, Kathryn applied a zero-waste methodology to her design process. By focusing on stacked, layered, and folded elements, her designs have progressed into tactile and light manipulating structures. The moveable and interchangeable forms have culminated in a versatile range of textiles for interior and lifestyle products.
