Typical Flat layout for large scale family. Each family member has a specifically designed space aimed at various levels of social interaction depending on their generation. A void space is created above the stairwell so all members can hear each other throughout the home once leaving their specific private bedroom space.

My focus this year was to investigate, analyse and reflect on the themes of imagination, play and education. I’ve developed an interest in design for play as a form of education and have tried to integrate this passion into all three projects of 4th year. Three projects have been included in my exhibition each studying different techniques of architectural design that enhance socialisation, education and play aimed at a range of ages.

Projects remain unfinished but will be updated on both this page and my instagram as progress continues. @g_reiddesign
