Dennis has recently completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design at the Glasgow School of Art. Prior to this, he had training in a product industrial design background at Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Design, graduating with the Diploma of Product & Industrial Design in 2016 and subsequently served 2 years of full-time national service.
During his NS period, he took up two interior design certificate night classes at NAFA over a period of 1 year. These certificates were essential as he didn’t come from an interior design background. After 3 years of applying to GSA, he finally managed to secure a place in the GSA degree program. While waiting for uni to begin, he joined an Interior design firm (Prozfile) and also partake a short 3d course during his off days.
He finds himself to be curious and passionate in his craft and has actively sought out and taken on many opportunities to work with various companies. During his work stints, he took on roles that involved professional 3D rendering and doing Interior photoshoot for companies. Through the constant rigour of these projects, he was able to constantly expose
himself to work in situations that are challenging yet fulfilling.
These rollercoaster journey and experiences have enabled him to expose himself to many different design styles in search of his own manifesto. Seeking for his own voice and the approach towards design as he ventures more into the industry
